2018 Paint defect

Can anyone with paint and body knowledge tell me what's going on here? It's obviously a factory defect but should I worry about it? I bought the truck in Jan of 2018 and don't know if it's covered under warranty.

i'd be taking it to the dealer. in the end its them who will fix it under warranty..or not. Me? I'd expect that to be fixed. Orange Peel paint on a Dodge? (including mine?) Seems to be pretty regular and doesn't bother me enough to make a stink. THAT on the other hand would. Its been like that since you bought it? Thats terrible it would be missed or not noted in some way by the dealer.

Yeah I recall noticing a "booger" (sorry for the lack of a better description haha) in the paint there a month or so after I bought it, but because it's in the location it is, I didn't really think much of it and forgot about it. Then it happened to catch my eye today and it now looks like it's cracked open instead of just a small lump in the paint. My dad says it looks like water got under the paint and rusted and that is very concerning. I don't know enough about automotive paint to make a call on it. Looks like I will be making an appointment with the dealer. Thanks for the insight.

ahhhh so it got worse. kinda like a popped infected blister now. i get that. Yep, issue for dealer fer sure!
