I'm helping a friend install the remote start on his 2018 Express. It already has the hood latch plug, so he bought the latch assembly. I installed it and used AlfaOBD to program it. The BCM is saying it sees the hood switch, but had an open circuit code, and the remote start isn't working. Any ideas what could be the issue cause I'm at a loss here?
