I have a 2018 Laramie. I just got off chat with a Mopar Uconnect rep. I have 2 issues with the radio, neither of which the dealer nor the rep could fix. Dealer and Uconnect tell me my software is up to date. The only thing the Uconnect rep could tell me is that they have only tested Android through 8.1.0, so they couldn't guarantee full compatibility with software versions past that.

Phone is a Pixel 2 running Android 9.

First, BT sound quality. Every once in a while, the music sounds like it's being played from an old record. All popping and scratchy. It'll do it for a couple of songs then be fine. Seems random, BT is always strong.

Second, every time I plug the phone in through USB to use Android Auto, the BT unpairs. Doesn't matter if I unplug while driving, stopped, running, off...if I use Android Auto, I have to re-pair the phone.

Anyone else having similar issues?

I'll have to check the Bluetooth repair issue. I do notice Bluetooth sound does that sometimes. One thing I noticed is sometimes after plugging in my phone, the volume is not adjustable, I have to unplug and replug in. I also have a Pixel 2 Xl and my radio is a new 2018 UAQ

Do you have a UAQ 4c nav or the UAS 4c (w/o nav)?

What application version is installed on the radio? Go into dealer mode to check...
Press (temp up + down + front defrost for 6secs)

M² Mods.

so I did a quick test for the Bluetooth and my Bluetooth stays connected throughout unplugging and plugging into Android auto, however not sure you know or not but when you do connect Android auto it doesn't use Bluetooth any longer, but my phone still stays connected to Bluetooth and I do not have to re-pair it.

Application version 21.9 has known audio issues on both radios and UAQ v22.5 has had a few reports of problems. v22.6 is available for UAS radios and is fixed.

Weird...as soon as I plug my phone in, I get (what I assumed was standard) message "previous bluetooth device disconnected", and then it just unpairs/forgets the phone.

There's a setting in Android auto that lets you keep Bluetooth on while connected.
