I just picked up what I believe is a 2019 grill. Can anyone tell me if this will fit a 2017 Ram 1500? Is it a direct swap? If not I'll probably jut put it up for sale. I do like the looks.

If the 2019 grille was from a 1500 Classic it would fit. But that grille is from a 5th gen 1500 and like @mtnrider said, it will not fit your 2017.
