I purchased a2019 Ram Classic. I buy things from Amazon a lot was looking at some splash guards toneu covers and running boards. Some of the adds list the same parts fit 2009-2018 and include 2019 classic some adds say the 2018 parts are not interchangeable. I was wondering if there was any difference between the 2018 and the 2019 Classic?

The 2019 classic is just a 2018 rebadged that they couldn't sell, after rolling out the 2019 body. Body wise everything is the same on a 19classic as a 18 or older. Even the engine in the new 19 is exactly the same as the older engines, nothing has changed there at all. I have 2019 headers on my 2015 ram. I know the pcm is different in the 2019 classic though.

If it's dependent on the shape of the body panels, those did not change from 18 to 19 classic.

One noticeable difference is the oem dodge moulded mud flaps do not fit the 2019. I bought them and had to return. The holes didn’t line up

Running board mounts are different for the classic compared to the 2018. The front most driver side mount is different.

Only difference I saw was the front mount had the nuts attached to the frame to mount the running board brackets. Other than that my kit I bought was for all years of the 4th gen

The front driver side usually comes with two brackets to account for year changes. If you buy good boards.

I also have a 2019 classic. If you are ordering something on line and it doesn’t specifically say for the classic then I would call customer service of the place I am ordering or do an online chat if available to clarify before ordering. I hate having to return stuff. It’s always such a hassle.

I bought these from Amazon a couple of weeks ago. They were listed for up to 2018's and mine is a 2019 Classic---they fit fine. If you buy these, note that the first 2 holes in your truck have installed nuts and the other 4 (per side) do not, but this manu includes some clever little adapters that mount the supports in the spots where Dodge didn't put nuts. Easy to do. I had an issues with which support went where until I saw that the big supports are marked DF, DC,DR, etc. (Driver Front, etc.) The rest was cake. Good luck and good hunt.

I ordered the molded Ram mud flaps last night. I was on eBay there was a Chrysler dealer with them listed and they stated guards would fit

With moulded mudflaps, there are two styles available, one for trucks with OEM fender flares and ones without, they are not interchangeable.
HuskyLiner makes both and includes paint protectors. The ones for the Classic are the same part number used on my '15

Anything large or heavy I would buy local. I made the mistake of ordering running boards from Amazon that were supposed to be made for my '16 QC, can't remember which brand now, they were more like a universal fit for many other RAM trucks, poor design and didn't even have the correct size bolts. I sent them back but cost me $140 return shipping.

Sorry gonna have to disagree with you , they are NOT just 2018 trucks they couldn’t sell. FCA continues to build the classic at warren truck plant while the new 19 truck is built in Sterling Heights plant. RAM sees there is a market for the classic truck for people who don’t want to spend the extra $$$ on the latest & some say greatest and are happy with the classic. Personally do not like the grille and front end design of the new style. Sure I love the interior and all it’s technology and safety features. Think FCA dropped the ball on the front styling , it’s to generic looking imop.

It's toyota looking if you ask me. [emoji1787] They really shut the bed on design if you ask me I'd definately be firing designers for 2019 that's for sure.
