2019 Warlock V8 Hemi - Payload????

Hi All

a friend of mine has a 2019 Warlock Hemi Crew Can and the door stick says max payload is 1313LBs. This seems low as I have a 2020 Bighorn V8 Crew and it is rated for 1712LBs.

can anyone add some insight into if the Warlock is accurate and if so as to why the large discrepancy.

The Gen5 DT trucks have an all new frame and suspension set up, the trucks have a higher GVWR/payload compared to a comparable Gen4 DS truck. Your friend's Warlock is a Gen4 DS

Yes. As mentioned. The warlock will have a 6900 GVWR and the 5th Gen has 7100 GVWR. So that is 200lbs. The 5th Gen also had a few weightloss enhancements. So about another 150 lbs. The rest would just be how they are optioned.
