Thats a good point to bring up. I sure hope that's what's causing it because due to the nature of how those Auto-4WD transfer cases work, leaving them in Auto-4WD all the time makes a ****-ton of drag on the power-train due to the whole front-end being locked in, except for at the transfer-case where the engagement clutches are, meaning that the hubs, front diff and driveline being spun by the front wheels.Is it a 4x4? If so, are you running in 2wd or 4-auto?
Its bad enough that us that us 4WD users have to deal with bad drag anyways from the front hubs being virtually locked in all the time but hey, at least if we get in a sticky situation and get stuck in 2WD, at least we aint gotta hop out and spin hubs in....lol. Its a price we pay, I guess...
