I am looking for a place to tap into 12 volts at 20 amps to connect a ham radio transceiver. I need power on and off with the ignition. Right now I have a cable connected to the battery (with in-line 20 amp fuses) providing power under the rear seat (CrewCab). I cannot find a 12 volt source in the area. I do not want to use a 12 volt cigarette lighter plug.

Use a relay, and then tap into a circuit that turns on/off with the ignition aka your 12v outlet to trigger the relay

20 amps is quite a bit, I’d get 12v straight from the battery and use a relay with a keyed cigarette lighter as the trigger.
