2021 Longhorn Limited Back-up Camera Stopped Working

I purchased a 2021 Ram 1500 Longhorn Limited in December 2020. It has the 12 screen. Have had the truck for 5 months and just turned 2100 miles (... I don't do a lot of driving). Today, the back up camera stopped working. It was working fine earlier today. I get a dark (blank) screen. Cannot turn on camera with button either.

For the last couple of hours I have been reading about this problem with earlier model Ram 1500's but haven't seen much of anything on 2021's. One of the threads stated that the 2021's got a new version screen than earlier model years. Does anyone know if this is the case? Anyone have any suggestions on how I should proceed? Based on other posts I've read, I hope I didn't make a mistake buying this truck. Spent a lot of money on this truck and wouldn't expect this kind of problem.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Check the connection going from the tailgate to the harness underneath the truck ... mine did that and it got loose ...

mine has the same problem but I have two other problems that happened at the same time. Throttle control sensor, rear camera and rear sensors. Dealer says 2-3 weeks before they can look at it , I also lost power going down the road

Wow... sounds like a Titan... are all late model trucks the same.. where do they get their engineers from?
