2024 New Order Build Schedule?

Just Ordered 2024 RAM Laramie last week and have notice of order accepted on the RAM vehicle tracking portal - does anyone know when the 2024's will start to be built? Also and just for what it is worth, the option for the cluster with 12 inch TFT color display was not available on the dealer order system for the 2024 model year. Anyway, have an F150 that will work fine till I get my new RAM. Thanks in advance to any insights.

IIRC its August or September when they start, could be wrong as its been a while since I last saw the posted schedule that btw is floating around here some where on RF...

I can't recall if it was on this forum or the other where this questions came up about the 12" tft. If you're on a 1500 the Cluster is certainly available as a standalone option, though it requires picking up level B equipment group. So if you were base or level one that would have prohibited the 12" TFT.

While we're at it HDs have started production, I can see few in production now and plenty scheduled for this month.
Many 1500s in D status but no build dates assigned.


EDIT - Just found yesterday that on longbeds the cluster is not available, and no clue as to why!

My neighbor is GM at local RAM dealer - he asked the RAM Rep why the 12" cluster not available on the long bed and was told chip shortage. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. So cancelled my Laramie order and upgraded to the Limited - a few grand more but will have long bed and 12" cluster. Appreciate the updates on production timing that have been posted.

On 8-2 Ram agreed to replace my 2022 Ram 1500 Rebel, filed lemon in 2023. ... and they are replacing my truck....The order is placed, how do i find the build schedule for my 2024 Ram 1500 4×4 Crew Cab. I received an email from Ram that order is received. Where do they build them and how do I find the production schedule?

Once it is sequenced for build, you'll get another notification, but it won't have much detail. You can then fwd that to your dealer to see what it shows on their end for estimated ship date (which is really just when it leaves main assembly line)

Ram 1500s are built at two different Assembly Plants, both are in Michigan

Ram DS ( Classics ) are built in Warren , Michigan
Ram DT ( new body style ) are built in Sterling Heights , Michigan

2024 Ram DT's are already in production, you may see them in the show rooms by October

soon after you are notified that your Ram is a Pending Order
You will receive another notice that your Ram is Status D
D means that a date is set to begin your Build

D also means Gateway, that is a big date !

I've had a full digital display the past couple of years on my SUV and can take or leave it. While looking at the ram trucks, I liked the lower trim analog gauges. The gauges just render the dashboard better, in my opinion. Yes, you can customize a digital dash 6 ways to sunday with bright colors, but in the end, I just want to see MPH and other standard info. To me, a full digital cluster isn't all that, unless of course you have a mustang, vet, something similar for track, then its very helpful.

Within 2 weeks, if you signed up for Tracking Notices
You will receive a letter that changes your Status to at least C , if not D .
You are currently in B meaning Pending

Considering that SHAP workers are now walking the picket line as of this morning, that 4-6 months is probably a reality.

They brought the workers back after the strike and now they're having a massive layoff to date, because of poor profits!!!
