Well I pulled the trigger and ordered a new 2024 1500 Limited Elite with Off-road package and other goodies

Only if you pay sticker .. . in that case, yes. but there are many more reasons why the world has gone insanse besides the truck prices lol!

I have a 2014 Laramie Crew where the sticker was around $52K. I ordered a 23 Limited (now a 24) because I couldn't get the equivalent "level" of truck in the Laramie trim... Sticker is just shy of $72k. A $20,000 increase in 9-10 years is INSANE - that is a 38% increase in MSRP.
I did look at the other MFG's... similarly equipped trucks had an MSRP well below Ram. Honestly thought about a new Tundra.

I'm not saying the advances & improvements are worth $20k,

We will see... I can tell you that my leather seats are nicer in the 2014 than in my dad's 2019 Laramie... His back seat angle and leg room is much better, but the overall quality of the seats is a downgrade. The motor, transmission and rear end is the same except for the etorque (I'd rather not have that). The backup camera and headlights are better on the 2019. But everyone I know with the 12" display is having issues. I have none with my 8.4. I'm not sure what other improvements they made

You're going to talk yourself right out of that new truck. lol.
I hear the same as you with the 12" screen but haven't heard complaints about the seats. Then again I'm not looking either. I'm very happy with my 18 Limited.
Hope the new one is everything and more for you.

I just ordered the same 2024 Limited in Billet Silver, the dealer said it could take 6 months to get it. How long did it take to get yours? The only option I didn't get was the sun roof. What is your Payload Capacity?

I ordered the same in July. Just got it two weeks ago. I didn't get the Limited Level 1 - big mistake on my part.
