2500 v.s.1500 Bumpers

howdy fellas,
so I bought my 2016 1500 not long ago, and I'm already looking for improvements.
I saw a really neat bumper online, (Dodge Ram Rear Bumper 2010-2014 | Aluminess)
but they only offer it for the 2500, now, I was wondering just how different can they be? I know that the OEM bumpers for the 2500 and the 1500 have different part numbers; if the differences are minimal (e.g. thicker material, more supports, et.) I might go for it, I really like the cargo options and that it's aluminum.
I don't do any towing, and I don't really go off-roading, mostly I take it on road trip and some very mild overlanding.

That's a serious bumper and price. I'm wondering what other mods you have in mind.

I think the differences are minimal. There was a guy that out a 1500 bumper on his 2500 and added dual tips in the cut puts. I would search for that and maybe his post can tell you the difference.

well the reason I tailored my truck was for long road trips, and like I mentioned, mild overlanding, so I want all that cargo space since I'll have a top and sleeping quarters in the bed of the truck, I'm not thrilled about the price, but it's perfect, and aluminum.

nice bumper. wonder if a local to you shop could fab one up for you and save some dollars.
