what broke

I'm not sure but I believe classic was entry level so it is possible it is an open diff.

The Ram 1500 Classic, like other Ram 1500 models, can be equipped with either an open differential or a limited-slip differential (LSD), depending on the model year and package.

The dealer told me with my serial number on my truck that it was a "no slip" wich im assuming means a locking diff?

Any rear axle from 2013-2018 and then the Classic versions 2019-2024 should fit under your 2013. I believe the first year for the ZF 235MM (9.25") rear axle was 2011, so even those should fit provided they're 3.92 geared.
Outdoorsman package was supposed to automatically add 3.92 gearing and the limited slip rear differential. Some V6 (gas and diesel) trucks didn't get the 3.92 gears.
If the differential is broken, you might want to consider replacing it with a TruTrac differential.

Locking diff is something only for dirt. Open versus lsd diff, LSD is more desirable as it restricts spin to put power on the road. You can make your diff a locker, it is different then open or LSD.

If it came with no slip my guess is you would want to keep that, I certainly would. It is at least possible that classic diff is open, meaning not no slip.

Perfect, so it would fit, i guess now my question is what exactly is "no slip"... I know what LSD is but if they are the same ive never heard it called that

Open diff reduces power to the non spinning wheel, so if you are in the snow and a wheel is spinning that wheel continues to get the lions share of power. I'm guessing you don't want this. Locker locks both wheels together, dangerous if you have any chance of wheel grab, you will break something. LSD is a compromise between the two, more evenly between both wheels but not locked.

It's just a limited slip differential. No slip is simply the factory name for that option. There are many different styles of differentials that provide some sort of traction enhancement, meaning they deliver some level of power to both rear tires instead of just one. All of them have different trade names.
