I have a 1990 360 la stock stroke and bore, also came with a Edelbrock performer. I'm looking to make around 350 hp, I'm thinking of going with the speedmaster heads that come assembled and flat top pistons but I have no idea what to do for a cam, carb, distributor etc
I don't want something kinda choppy

It's going to be going in a 83 w150 with the np435 trans with 33/12.5 tires, not sure about what gears it has but what ideas do you have and what can I expect out of it in my truck.
Truck currently has a 318 2 barrel and cruising at 55 it revs pretty high, sounds like it's running out of power, or mabey just the low gears
Any ideas welcome

If you are going to make the change to 360 from 318, be aware that the flywheels are different. The 318 is an internally balanced engine and the 360 is externally balanced by the flywheel. The 318 flywheel will bolt on but you will have one heck of a vibration.
I'm working from a 50 year old memory........

Talk to these guys, they used to be 1 of the better smallblock Mopar outfits.Pick up the phone and call them, but have a few specs handy, like what your truck weighes/gear ratio / intended use etc.

So I'm looking at the speedmaster assembled heads for my 360 LA and I want to know if they would work good with the Edelbrock 7177 cam kit with Edelbrock 7803 timing chain and a Edelbrock 7576 intake

I also am going to bore .030 over and do flat top pistons
