What are some good but cheap tires. I am trying to buy tires then wheels then get a level kit within the next year and have it installed by this time next year. Just looking for some opinions on m/t tires that arnt too pricey but all quality still.

I'd just get some Toyo RTs. They're not too expensive, but they have a 40,000 mile warranty! I don't think you'll find another offroad tire with a warranty. They're also a great ride and not noisy. I replaced my Trail Grapplers with them and couldn't be happier. IMO If you buy a cheap tire, you're not going to get quality and then have to buy another set sooner.

If you watch ebay, you can find some great deals and not pay sales tax either. Still have to pay for mounting, but the tire places around here still charge for it when you buy tires from them. I got a set of Cooper Discoverer STT Pro in 305/70/18...which is basically a 35x12.5...for $1192 and no sales tax or shipping on ebay. I figure I saved $200 at least by buying online.

hankook dynapro's are fairly cheap, and big o bigfoot used to be fairly cheap as well if they still make them.multitrac,anteres.any m/t for around $300 is a decent price.that's canadian $. so a set of 4 for under a grand is fair.especially a 35.if you're looking for a high mileage m/t you're going to pay a lot of scratch for them.my nitto's were around $1500.

35s aren't cheap by any means. And if you are putting them on a 2500 or bigger you really should make sure they can handle the load of the truck...which means E plys. That significantly increases the price.

When I priced Duratracs they were mid 200s for c ply. I want/need full capacity of my vehicle which means I dropped 500 a piece. Not a cheap hobby!

I just got a new set of 35x12.50R20's for my truck.
They are a load range E, 10 ply, and I got them for $844. shipped to my door.
The only thing is that they are an off brand, and I could find almost no info/reviews for them. They are Maxtrek Mud Trac M/T's. They are being installed this morning, and I plan to do a review once I've had the chance to put some miles on them.

there are a couple pics of the tires in this thread, http://www.ramforum.com/f41/new_tires_showed_up-91811/
