I bought a new set of 37x12.50 Cooper STT Pro's from Discount Tire the other month. The are on stock 17" rims. From day 1 these tires have been shaking from about 45-70mph. I have taken it back to discount tire 4 times already which they have tried balancing them every type of way possible including road force balancing. The truck is also pulling to the right pretty hard and I never noticed that before these tires. I got the alignment done and still pulling. I was starting to think I had a bad tire, but Discount said they were not able to find a bad tire. They ended up putting the front right tire to the rear and still pulling right. Is there anything in the suspension I should check with these issues? Any suggestions what could be wrong?

You might have to use balancing beads to get them balanced. How much weight have they put on the wheels? And how much lift? Tell us more about the truck... the more details the better help we can give you.

The truck is completely stock. I have heard of guys using beads and that it worked great. They did give me some numbers on the weights. I don't have that paper on me right now, but I think 1 of them took 5 ounces or so and I'm pretty sure that was the most.

Wow that’s a lot that tire sounds like it’s out of round. Like JB1 said make them take them back and get another brand. Nitto Ridge Grappler are not difficult to balance. That’s what I have on my truck

I had 35's on my 2011 ram 1500 also had 17 inch rims had the garbage duratrac's from Goodyear also purchased from discount. They could never get them balanced. I tried the beads, weight's and alignment never were right. I traded them in after 2 years and got a credit after the manager called and complained about them. Got the BF's and never had an issue. Now I have Nittos 37's on my 2500 and again no issues. IMO sometimes certain tires just doesn't work with certain vehicles.

Well first thing that comes to my mind. Rams have a tendency to pull to the right. It’s a known issue. M/t tires tend to exaggerate this. It for sure has on my truck. I’m sure a 37” makes it even more noticeable.

Damn! Discount offered to take them back and for me to try a different tire, but I really wanted these. I think the only other tire I would want is a Toyo or Nitto MT. I'd just rather not have to pay another 400-500 for those.

Which Nittos do you have?

I think you will enjoy the Nitto Ridge Grappler M/T. JMHO
I running the Nitto Ridge Grappler myself. 35-12.5/20 on my 18 Ram 2500. I love em! My next set will be 37’s

Coopers are fine, I would ask them to order another set, probably just a defect with the current tires. Hopefully it’s the tires and not something else on the truck

Get the Terra Grappler G2’s, I love mine. Never had a balance issue. I have nearly 55k on mine and still have another 15k in them.

I got a buy 3 get 1 free when NTB was having their b2g2 sale going.

Mine have a slight shimmy at about 65-75. I also noticed the very slight pull to the right. Only when a rutted road. I think we can equate that to mud terrain and a lot wider tire. Seems like the shimmy has about gone away. Not sure why. I’m starting to really like these tires so I’m not too worried about it. All the Jeeps I’ve had, these trucks are so smooth comparatively.

If you want an all terrain check out the Nitto Ridge Grappler as suggested above. If you really want a mud tire consider the Yokohama MT too. Below is a pic of my Yokohama Geolandar G003 with a cooper MT leaning against them for comparison. I have those in 37’s and they balanced just fine. Got mine at discount tire too.

I have heard plenty of good things about that Nitto and equivalent Toyo, but I want a more aggressive tire like the Nitto Trail Grappler or Toyo Open Country.

I agree. I did a ton of research on these tires before buying them. Seemed like there were plenty of guys running them on specifically 2500's with no issues.

Sometimes this happens. The tires could have been bad. Sometimes guys just CAN NOT get a certain set of tires balanced no matter what and a different set works fine. This seems especially true with 37s or larger.

I’m still not sold it a tire issue. What tires were you running before. Maybe the truck had slight pull and you didn’t notice it but the mt tire exaggerated it. Had alignment? Even an alignment it’ll still pull to right. Very well known issue with these rams. My mt tires have really exaggerated the pull but it’s getting new suspension in a week and going with thurens alignment specs. Hopefully it is better after that. “ pulls right and after 10k miles zero tire wear issues”

I had 33" Ironman AT's that were brand new that came with the truck. I only had them on for a month or so. I'm trying to think back if it pulled back then and it might have had a slight pull with those tires too, but nothing compared to now. The pull is one thing but the shake is another. Every time I take it back to discount they tell me they were out of balance, but it has never improved.
