3rd brake light out

Bought my truck brand new in January. Girlfriend's dad informed me today that my 3rd brake light isn't working and that I should've bought a Ford (I'd rather shoot myself in the foot). Took it out and the bulb is fine, wires look good, there seems to be nothing wrong. Any ideas on what it may be? I know it is under warranty, but I HATE going to the service center at the RAM place here and the next closest one is 45 min away. Thanks for the help!

Have you tried another bulb? I've seen many bulbs that look fine but aren't.

I'll throw another one in tonight and see if it works. If not, I may be ordering my blacked out LEDs sooner than planned.

While you are there, just check that back seat area and make sure there isn't any water. There are some minor issues with water getting in through that area. Just throwing an idea out there, not all trucks have this issue, but enough people have had that issue to think about.

BTW... I have a set of blacked out 3rd tail led and they look great. My truck is black, so it blends in nicely.

10-4, I'll check it out. If there is I'll throw some silicone around it. Had the same issue on my 2004. Can you but up some pics of the tails? I want the Spyders myself, just curious how blacked out they look.

Here is what my rear looks like in general. My 3rd brake light bar by my bumper isn't cut off...it's just a bad angle.
