I'm replacing the chrome Headlight Assemblies on my 2014 RAM 1500 Express Quad cab.

I bought "Black" assemblies, after-market. The only info supplied was that if I had a single H/L lamp just use the stock H13 bulb and I'm good to go. If I had 2 lamps ( 1 H, 1 L ) then replace them with one H13 Lamp for each assembly. These new assemblies only have one opening for a lamp/socket along with anothe opening for the Turn.

My Ram has the Quad headlight version using one OEM H 11 (L) and one 9005 (H) in each assembly.

My inquiry is: Are there adapter harnesses (Plug & Play ?) available?

I like to trick out the Ram, but to me, figuring out the wiring, sockets, etc, cut & splice is like watching paint dry. lol.

Anybody have any info? Thanks

If I read it right, you have quads and the set you bought are duals. So they are plug and play. Nothing extra is required.

Just so we are on the same page

3rd part headlight assy.

Thanks for the quick reply 1500ram12! Yes you read it right, and the Quad & Dual pics you included are what i have.

I'm still unclear in this regard: The oem Quads have two openings in the headlight housing, one for a H11 lamp, it's socket and wires, the other opening is for the 9005 lamp, its socket and wires.

My Dual headlight assy. only has the one opening for a H13 dual lamp, which of the two original sockets I use?

If I remember right the headlight connector on the truck is h13. So it plugs directly to the dual headlights h13 bulb and the second connector goes for the turn signals.

The connector on the quads is h13 that splits into the high/low and uses the corresponding bulb/connectors. And the same goes for the 2nd connection

Thanks ram150012. I give it a shot. Just didn't want to remove the grille (again) before I had more info. Thanks!

My 2010 and 2012 both came with duals and I added quads to them. So I can tell you that it will work

Success 1500ram12!

You called it all correctly! Had I removed a least 1 Headlight Assy. I would have seen what you clearly explained. What was throwing me off was that the main connector was a H13 all along. All Dodge did was add a "splitter" to the connector to make it a Quad. Removed the splitter from the connector, plugged in a H13 and installed it and the Turn Signal Lamp socket and I'm done. My problem was I over-thunk it! Thanks for getting me to a cold one quicker.
