send duane a pm but i need to order soon, does any one here have or know if the polished intake for a 2004 ram 5.7 comes with the filter. the pic shows one but there is an (option) at the bottom for a AEM filter. wasnt sure if its a extra one or needs to be purchased for a full kit.

I am 99.9% sure it comes with a filter. Least mine did. I think the AEM is just an upgrade option.

i would bet it comes with a washable one that then needs to be oiled. The AEM is probably a dry filter that doesn't need to be oil after cleaning.

All of our intakes come with a washable style filter element. The AEM is an upgrade available, as a lot of people want a dry type filter instead. Thanks for the help fellas, sorry, been at the hospital with my finacee. She had back surgery Tuesday and is still there....
