Hello,

I’m thinking about putting 37’s on my truck.
I have a 2015 ram 1500 5.7l bighorn cc 6.4’ bed with a 4” bds lift and 5” rear coils, Bilstein 5100’s set to 1.5” (Truck sits almost level, CV’s flat)
I’m wondering if anyone’s tried this. Would I be able to clear 37’s if I put the Bilsteins at 2.8” and a rear block with the 5” coil?

Or could I get the front spacer for the 6” bds lift kit and replace the 4” spacer? And adjust the bilsteins if needed?

thanks.

Yes you can you can fit them now depending on the offset of the wheels you’re running

I have 18x9 +1 fuel krank rims. Will they fit without rubbing tho?

They should not rub 37x12.5 is the size you’re looking into? Different manufacturers vary in sizes too

You could also try more caster if your arms will give it. Perhaps a diffent aftermarket bumper with more clearance for the wheels. No need to go higher unless you want to go higher.

I fitted and offroaded 37x12.5x17 BFG KO2's with extra caster (5.0*) and a prerruner style bumper with 2.5-2.75" lift. have a bumper with Wiinch now that has the profile I want and I can go back to 37's if I wanted with the same lift. I doubt I'll do it again though cause that tire size is a little sucky with the 65RFE trans and 3.92's :)

Great advice. The aftermarket front bumper will give enough clearance on a 4" lift and 37's.

that’s awesome! Thanks for the advice. I’d really like to stay with my factory bumper and hidden winch. I like the discrete look. I’m hoping the 37’s won’t effect my driving a ton.. with my current 35’s the 37’s will only be 7lbs heavier per tire. But it’s also the rolling mass that will be noticeable

i loved the size and looks. Truck looked meaner etc. But the acceleration sucked some for me as i have the 6 speed trans and the trans gearing sucks, it wasn't super bad i just a did a little massage in my trans upshift points at low rpm, however loaded to the roof i had to use the tow button more when going uphills. MPG hit was huge especially in city. Offroading performance also took a hit when in 4hi and driving in heavy sand the transmission hunted for gears like crazy, and in 4lo the reduction wasn't always as slow as it was with 33's or 35's for example so going in 3 wheels in a rut going downhill required a lot more finesse. Put 12k miles on them then one day i said enough and just sold them in craiglist and went back to 35's. I think if i had the 8 speed it would have been more decent, and that's with 3.92's. Don't know how some run them with 3.21's and the same 6 speed trans. If regearing wasn't the deal it's i'll prob do 4.88's with my 6 speed trans. Otherwise 35's move just fine with 3.92's and my back can still lift the 100lbs spare in the bed when needed :)
