Hello everyone! I have a 2013 RAM 1500 with the 4.7 liter. Earlier today I started it up for 5 seconds and everything was normal, And I forgot something inside the house so I shut it off and went inside to pick what I forgot up before I left. When I started it the 2nd time the engine had no oil pressure at all, and after watching a **** ton of mechanic videos about the importance of oil, I immediately shut the engine off and basically went into panic mode. I'm wondering if its safe to turn on because I don't want to risk any damage to the engine.

You may have a bad sending unit. Calm down, check the oil level, and pick up an oil pressure gauge/tester. You might be able to rent/borrow one from a local auto parts store. Remove the oil pressure sending unit and install the test gauge, then start the engine and see what the oil pressure reads on the test guage—that will answer your question.

Best,

Also, if your pressure was really zero you would hear a LOT of tapping from your lifters

not instantly if he had pressure on his previous start, i had an issue once where i started losing pressure on my way home in a hemi i had, and to keep a long story short i misdiagnosed it to be the sending unit on the side of the road and drove on, it took 10 mins before i heard any kind of tapping noise from the motor, i instantly shut it down, let it sit, restarted it, had pressure and the tapping went away...

my problem was a plugged pickup tube...

I would have it towed to a mechanic to be checked out.
