42rle?

So I have an 07 RAM 3.7....I have learned that the auto for this truck is the 42RLE....from what I have read it sounds like it is a nightmare of a transmission... Is this true? Can anybody speak on this....and if so can Anything be done to beef it up and help get more longevity or reliability out of it.

Not yet....the transmission is different....just in the way it behaves....Ive had several transmission shops look at it and they have told me it's fine.... I'm just curious as to of anyone has had any issues and whether or not they are as problematic as others have said....

It seems to do ok as long as you don't overheat it.
