MMX and FRP are the two best places to purchase your complete kits.Hi , all yes the motor is on stand pan was dented so I took off to bump back to shape . Ken is correct, it looks like the rollers are burnished to me look's like larger roller pins in lifters. was eyeballing the mmx ntr nsr mds cam some good reviews on it.
My $0.02 is run it like it is. 37 more horsepower above 5000 rpm isn't going to help much towing. By their own graph the stock cam makes more torque up to 4000 rpms. The 30 extra HP would help towing my trailer the cam is 619.00 my only fear is the quality of the lifters in it now ..
Do Not go cheap or use after market lifters in a hemi, unless you like pulling the heads and replacing lifters on a monthly basis.Cam and lifters aren't somewhere you want to cheap out on.Stick with the OEM lifters even if they make your rear pucker. TSP's lifters have one of the worst reps in the hemi world, about the only lifters with a worse rep are Engine Techs lifters, even Comps lifters suck as far as hemi lifters go.yes I though that too so looked around there all about the same or more TSP has a set around 300 but are not oem and yes 1669. + tax . in the pics above the rollers look like they are burnished you can see original grind marks on cam . it is clean as you can see in pic I did nothing to it as far as cleaning it goes . if I new id get 100000 out of the lifters in there id just get the cam 619 dollars .
He has the oil pan off.How did you get those pics? How times we gotta ask![]()
