Thinking about doing this on my 09 1500. Most likely led bar style so i can see better at night going down dark roads. Just getting ideas for now. If you have pics post up

Here's my setup for now
Dual 12s (78W Each) mounted onto grill itself
Dual 9s (40W Each) Behind Grill

I have a westin light bar coming in, got to get it linexed black than going to reconfigure my lighting.

As far as output, I am extremely satisfied

Any questions just ask or PM

not exactly. The slats are slanted downwards and blocks some of it. I wish it didn't. it would be soo much brighter. I don't like having lights out and exposed doesn't look right

I like the bull bars but I heard they are very weak and cause alot of front end damage if u try to push anything with it.

Considering they mount below the bumper, hitting anything with most bull bars puts pressure on the top, leading edge. The forward most bolts that hold it on would just act like a fulcrum and allow it to pivot, or worse, bend inward, causing damage to the front of the truck. Typically, bull bars are just attractive light mounts and semi-functional skid plates (mud, sand and small brush won't damage them easily).

I like the look of a bull bar. Yours being one color truck makes it look good. I have a chrome and black bumper and may not look decent

So do we think I could fit a 42" behind the grille?

No way, you don't have the depth on the sides of the grille
I don't think a 30" would fit
It's to bad these grilles are a PITA or I'd try to see if it would
