No, my truck was a 2500 it never had MDS.
The purpose was just to add a little more HP and be a well behaved cam when I add the supercharger down the road.
I built the motor myself and thought about a lot of cam options and decided on this route.
Hemifever did the tune and honestly even before the tune im not noticing any loss of torque down low.

Just an update.
Motor hit 4,000 miles yesterday and just keeps getting stronger.
Ive had about 5 red light runs with guys mostly fords, including a raptor last week. I’ve yet to come out on the losing end. I thought the raptor had me for sure when he pulled away from the light but my 40-80mph range is literally like a slingshot every time. Love it. Would really like to get it dynod soon.
MPG is sitting at 14.4 pretty steady.

Looks like it runs pretty good, especially for a 2500.

Was that an older raptor you raced? I’d imagine it was, the new ones are pretty damn quick.

Hey burner sounds fantastic!

I'm setting up to use the 5045517AC cam but a little lost on the springs you used. If those were Ram springs which ones?...or what else. Do you still have the stock #? (I don't want to screw up but oem doesn't show me performance springs for the 5.7 cuz the book is very specific on date of motor manufacture. For example one # before 3/15/2015 and another starting 3/16/2015 and my truck is a 2015)

How's it running now and what else have you done to it? This was last year.

I'm looking at the 6.4 intake, doing some valve work, porting, and short headers on mine as phase II.
