I am swapping out my 318 for a 360 magnum. Its a 96. I'm getting it bored 40 over. This is my first rebuild. No clue on whatto do for good performance parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Cam, roller rockers, Odessa heads, longtube headers, Mopar M1 if you can find it. Good start.

Odessa eq monster heads, mopar m1 or hughes airgap intake manifold, fastman 52 mm tb, a cam specd to fit your mods and needs, and some long tube headers. Dont forget you will need a programmable tuner such as sct.

Start looking on Summit.

And no, don't carb it. Too much work for too little gain.

Although, if you were building a 96 Magnum to toss into, say...an 81 W200...I'd say yes, you could. Otherwise no. Don't.

+1, just be sure to get the necasarry odds and ends that go with upgrading the heads and cam.

Not much to gain with a carb, you will get much more power out of a properly tuned EFI system.

.40 over why, is it that whipped? or are you after cubes. What pistons are you going to use? What's your goal here?

Maybe he would be happy with a "computer-compatible" Mopar-Performance cam? Lets not open a can of worms we don't have to. That, a good intake, tune, and free-flowing exhaust would make him more than happy. And no compatibility headaches. Sometimes simple is better because it works.

That could be a better option depending on what he wants to do :)
