Anyone got the most or newer design slanted carven tips that wouldn't mind posting some pics. Debating on which ones to pick as I don't know if there is a real difference between both. If it's possible to get a pic that shows the inside of the tip from the rear I would appreciate it. Or whatever works best.

Moe's all the way. I like how meaty they look with the rolled lip versus the thin looking Carven.

I had the Moe's tips pictured above except they were chrome. I was very pleased when they came in the mail because of the fit and finish.

Carven polished 5” slanted. On my 2nd set bc I had a very slight rust around the welds and they replaced for free no questions asked.

I have the 5" Mufflex tips. I LOVE them... had them since October of 17 through two Wisconsin winters, and they look brand new!

Not even 3 months old. So I have a warranty claim on Carvens 100 year warranty. Both tips are perfect the only issues are with their logo

Thanks.... Is that rust on the carvens? Also how that gloss holding up on the moes due to the heat, no fading?

Yes, that was rust on the carvens after only 5000 miles and I live in Houston with no snow etc. The gloss didn't hold up, he had some powder coating issues so Matt replaced them with satin and I now finally have no tip issues at all, Matt at Moes has great customer service. I dont think he offers gloss now. From someone who has had both, I like the Moes tips best with the rolled lip in satin black. I cant speak for any stainless version tips of any brand.

Good point. Now I want them both lol. Do these tips actually change the sound?

I had my DODM80 on before I did my tips.

After I put the tips on it did in fact have a little deeper tone.

To my understanding the 5” tips make the sound deeper, but do they also make it louder?
Btw thanks everyone for the help

Deeper sound with my 5" tips. Sorry not the greatest pic.

Flowrite 5”. Definitely a louder/deeper tone when you step on it. Double walled and bologna cut is always a plus imo.

I can say that my Moe's 5" tips certainly made my exhaust a touch louder and deeper. When I changed to my current muffler, I was getting a little drone so I put my stock tips back on and I noticed a difference in overall volume inside the cab and the drone is now gone. I like the 5" tip sound, but prefer the no drone and quieter cabin of the stock tips.

agree with @gdawg55....just adding the Moes 5" tips made the exhaust sound way better.
