5 to 8.4 UConnect.. why does my volume and tune buttons not work??

Once I upgraded to the 8.4 Uconnect in my 2016 Ram 1500 I have no volume buttons or tunning options... Yes I purchased a 8.4 from a ram... Yes I am buying a wiring harness for the climate controls... Thanks in advance!!

What is the part number of the radio you purchased, because 2019+ DT head units won't work in DS trucks? Who did you buy the harness from as I think there are two different ones; one for trucks 2013-2017 and one for 2018 1500/2500/3500 and then 2019+ Classics. Did you install steering wheel audio controls, and does your bezel have the audio control dial (you can buy parts from Infotainment to add volume knob to little knockout that should be in lower left side of bezel)? For my 2018 I had to install at least the steering wheel controls (actually have both options now) to control volume and channel changing (only SW co trolls channel).
