I think it will just go through the seals, I know we had to suck out the lill extra out of mine after the trans was played with. How far off is yours?

High enough to overheat and get the check tranny light (tranny gauge was at a all time high of 225F) while cruising 65 (early last week)and have tranny fluid sprayed all over the under carrige when pulling over to check. The level was at least 3-4 inches above the S bend. Airbubbles were present but fluid looked good with no burnt scent.

Limped home and let it sit there for a week since my jack is not holding weight.

Ground has been bone dry while sitting over that week.

Spent time on the weekend to suck enough out that the level is just below the S bend but still high. No airbubbles or additional leaks so took it for a drive around the block a few times. Temp was around 140-150.
shaft seals and transmission pan is dry with no recent leak evidence. The lines are good too. Can't inspect more without jacking the truck up

Might take the chance tomorrow and drive 15-20 miles to the nearest tranny shop for full flush and hopefully they can find the origin of where the sprayed fluid came from.
