So as far as I've been reading there's a conversion cable available for the LED tail lights. However I prefer the looks of the halogen assembly and prefer to use bulbs over LEDs as well.

Anyone know of any where I could purchase a cable, or a guide on how to make one?

This is the design I'm interested in installing.

Well I've not looked at the back of them, but if they use bulb sockets like the factory bulbs you can likely just plug them in. Here's the issue though, single bulb for tail/turn/stop vs separate turn and stop bulbs.

Furthermore, those are ugly.:anitoof:

The separate turn signals are the reason I want to swap the taillights out, having red turn signals drives me insane.

I do remember someone mentioning a setting in Alpha obd that can swap the turn signals to be separate from the brakes.

I'm mostly just wondering if anyone's done this and might share their experience.

As for them being ugly I prefer that stacked up light look to the design of the LED lights.

LED>halogen. This will give you the amber turn signal that you desire, and keep the hi visibility of LED over halogen

I'll certainly take a look, however I'm more interested in keeping the light on my truck as halogen bulbs.

I may end up having to do some tinkering and wiring.
