Installed Custom Flow VEL-39 5th wheel tailgate. The tailgate is installed, per gate mfg, metal on metal, without pivot hinge bushings. I don't feel that's right. I don't want to remove the bushings from the truck's tailgate. Went to the dealer and found there is only 1 bushing used, on the passenger side. This doesn't sound right either.
Anyone know if this is right, or another solution. Just don't like metal on metal.
