SFA front suspensions are alot cheaper than IFS kits.

Man that's a lot of money for a lift kit imo, I paid $4450 for my kit installed and a new set of fuel 20" wheels with 35" toyos total... I guess it just depends where you live :/

thanks for the replys, after thinking it over and looking at some of the trucks here on the site im gonna go with a 3" body lift. and new rims and tires. i already had the truck leveled a few months ago. one question i have is can i use the bilstiens with the level or is it one or the other? and i figure i can do the 6" suspension lift down the road if i want. again thanks for any advice.

Not really, your kit cost $1300 from BDS and is much easier to install then the $2300 dollar fab tech kit for a 1500 plus whatever they would charge for the bilstien shocks

$3500 is a bit steep IMO but not way over priced

Its one or the other with the bilstein adjustable 5100's and a level kit

Ok after the level the truck still has had just a slight rake im guessing here but i figure after the body lift i will still have it? Are there any options other than removing the level and going the adjustable bilstien route? And im thinking down the road if i do the susp lift im gonna require the bilstiens right? man i have owned hot rods and pick ups my whole life but this is my first go round with lifting anything im a total rookie here hope my questions arent getting redundant just want to get it right....thanks.

All a body lift does is raises the body off of the frame. So if your truck already has a rake it will still be there after a body lift.

As for options for leveling, your pretty much limited to bilsteins or a strut spacer. Do some research on body lifts before you decide on a 3". I don't think a 3" would look good on a leveled truck because the body lift creates a gap between the frame and the body. Some of the guys have a level with a 1.75" body lift, and it looks really good.

Look for glocknrams truck. Its a 2012 with a front spacer (not sure on size 2-2.5) and a 3" bodylift. I really like the look of his but he's pretty active on here and is the one who convinced me to go this route so im sure he will chime in...lol

I've got the rough country level kit. 2.5 front spacer and 1.5 rear. Still a little bit of rake which i needed for towing the rzr or when i have the bike in the back. Have the 3" body on order and will be putting it on when i get home.

I prefer the body lift over the suspension lifts strictly because this is a brand new truck. Just lifting the body you know the thing is still going to drive like a stock truck. You're changing a lot less on it and I feel less that the stealership could give you grief over. They make gap guards to fill the gaps and these rams hide them really well. Later on you can always take them out and go back to stock as opposed to a suspension lift that your stuck with because most lifts cut your cross members. OR you can go like fastnugly and do 6" suspension and have 9" which is just sick.. haha

I'm not an expert but thats just how I've justified it.
