Got my truck back today! Zone 6" kit with 5" rear coils and bilsteins at 2.1"; this seems to be a pretty popular setup here. Truck is dead level. A lot higher than I was expecting but very happy with it! Ride is significantly better than it was previously...it's incredible. One thing I notice is that the rear end feels a very slight of wobble on some bumps when turning. Maybe it was the old parts in the back moving around.

I think it may be time for some 37s, just curious to how the 3.21s will perform. What do you guys think for tire sizes? Keep them or go a bit bigger? I'm afraid to put the flares back on in case they look even smaller!

I like it with those tires. But how does it go with big tires and high gearing?

0-60mph under 6 seconds. Tons of power, the shifting can be weird at times however. The first two gears really go, but as soon as you hit third you don't have nearly as much power. I guess it stays in 1st/2nd longer which lets it accelerate faster, if that makes sense? Haha

Great looking truck! Most people are going to recommend 4.10 or 4.56 for 37s though. Personally I like the looks of the 35s, I think 37s may look a little stuffed

Thanks! I was thinking maybe something closer to a 36" tire. I've been told 4.10/4.56 would be far too much for the 8 speed. The first gear is very, very steep.

Oh sorry I forgot about the 8 speed tranny. You are right though 4.56s may be too much. Maybe somebody with the 8 speed can help you better than I can

Thanks! I'd have to take a shot from the side at a proper angle, standing above it makes them look bigger. I don't know...one minute I feel like they suit it well, the next I think they're tiny! Depends on where you're looking at it from. Maybe I'll bring the bils down to 1.4", I just don't want to fork out another $120 for an alignment.

Nice looking truck I think the set up you have now is just right but if you want 36" tires toyo makes a 315/70/18 witch is a 36x13x18

Mine now have a true with of 13.2", so these would be thinner which is ideal for me. Sounds perfect. Just curious if I'll notice much of a difference between 1" of additional diameter or if it's even worth the money. Maybe I'll go through these and take a look at those when the times comes!

Thanks!

Cool , I like the big rubber look over the big 20 +" wheels , I think it makes the overall wheel and tire assy look bigger . I'm planing on going with 17" wheels when I lift my 14 QC . I'm not positive yet but I'm pretty sure 17s are the smallest diameter we can go without interference with the calipers ...

Another reason I like the smaller diameter wheels is snow and mud doesn't get in the wheel and throw it out of balance , plus the tire sidewall weighs less than the aluminum wheel material ( from what I'm told )

Exactly. I'm more fond of a 'meaty' sort of look.

Nice looking truck, I have the same exact lift set-up, and the Nfab Nerf bars.
