$69 chip. does it work?

So as you guys have prob seen up top in the ads on the forum, is the $69 chip for the 1500. they say it adds 60 hp and 7 mpg. so does it work? worth the money? thanks guys!

Not only did it do those things to my truck, it made my truck taller and the exhaust smells like peaches too.

No, don't buy it. Chips are way over exaggerated, they're a waste of money. If a chip was truely capable of that, everyone would be running them.

You're only options in the tuning department is to get a superchips, diablo, or bully dog. I don't believe there are any other brands out there but if I did miss one, it's because no one uses them.

I was wrong by buying one. it hooks into your air intake sensor and tells the computer it's either reading freezing cold (dumps gas like crazy) or 300 degrees (leaning your motor out) you will have a ton of check engine codes. O2 sensors was the common one for me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

SCT is a good tuner also....OP dont waste your money...

Save yourself the $69, all it is is the power wire mod in a fancy box.
You can build one yourself for under $5. And as stated it just hooks in to your air intake temp sensor and "fools" it to think its reading optimum reading all the time. It actually uses more fuel and doesn't do much in the power dept.
