I would like to know if I can safely run a factory 20x9 wheel with 7mm (.28") spacers. Will I have enough thread on the lugs to properly secure the wheel and not worry about the wheel coming off? Another member has confirmed a 5mm spacer works fine but I want to know specifically about a 7mm spacer. Thanks

Look up hub centric spacers... I would not go with lug centric.

Measure the stud diameter. Times that by 1.5 and that is the max holding strength. Anything over that number wont hold any better. less will be weaker of course
