So here's a question for you guys. I've read that the navigation is simply an option that is activated via a dealer code. Is this something that can be done with AlfaOBD?

No, nav cannot be activated with AlfaOBD.

I demanded upon sale of truck they throw that **** in. I wasn't going to pay $700 for activation they were nuckin futs.

Like Ghost Ram said, no Alpha cannot activated it. Also if you have one of the newer UAS radios it is Not up-gradable like the older RA3 radio was. You either buy the Nav version or the non Nav version of the radio and that's it.

Rather than create a new thread on this I'll just update an old one and hopefully it will move to the top of the list again. I too originally wanted NAV but I wasn't interested in paying big bucks for it. Anyway I would look on eBay occasionally to see if anyone was selling codes at a discount but I hadn't seen anyone in at least a year. A couple days ago I ran across this dude selling codes for $189 so I decided to take a chance because it was so cheap. Well anyway he sent me the code today and it does work and now I have factory NAV for less than $200. Just in case anybody out there is still interested.

For anyone looking to do this option keep in mind that it does NOT work for the new radios. Only the older RA3 version.
