8.4 problems

Hi folks I know this is old news but my 2018 ram 8.4 has stopped responding to touch commands. Everything else seems to work. It displays incoming calls or temp etc, but does not work to the touch. Also my back up camera went at the same time. It was delaminating so I replaced the screen 5 mths ago with cuescreens. It was working finee until just recently. Is there anything else I should look at besides a new screen. If I do have to replace it, any recommendations?? Don't want to go through this every 5 months.

My question is this. If you replace the screen, get rid of the glue, use Gorilla Tape to secure a new digitizer, etc... HOW LONG DOES THIS FIX WORK? I see lot of youtube videos, and they work, but, no one replaces the glue. I would think the glue is there for some reason, or, why would the original manufacturer use it? Having the new digitizer sealed to the unit, wouldn't the air inbetween tend to expand and contract with temp changes? Don't know, just wondering.

What exactly did you use to fix the screen the first time?
