+1, why do this to your almost brand new truck?Umm I think any type of truck pull will be hard on a tranny
Why in the hell do you want to do this?
I want to see what it can do! HahaUmm I think any type of truck pull will be hard on a tranny

People buying a truck, especially one with engine mods expect that they've been played with. One pull down the track isn't going to hurt the truck, and in all seriousness if these trucks can't handle one pull down a dirt track without hurting or breaking something than we're buying the wrong trucks!Posts like this remind me why I don't buy used vehicles...

Just the stocks now, I've ordered duratracs but they're on national backorder! I'll be pulling the truck next may! Family of mine own all the truck pull sleds in Ontario and in may there's a big test and tune event where people bring in their tractors and trucks to tune them up for the pull season! I figured that would be a good time to test the truck out!Truck pull like your life depends on it. Hook your truck up and let the engineering do what it is supposed to do. Do you have siiiiiick tires for traction? If not, manipulating your truck, IMO, is just a waste of time. Run it how it is set up, let your truck handle its business, then come back here and share your story on a new thread.
Just put in 4 low and mash it and see what happens. Do it while your still under warrantee. LOL
