I know everyone seems to hate to switch from magnum to carb but I'm doing it. The truck is not a DD just a fun project. So I don't need the question why or fuel injection is better, just need the answer to my questions.

What parts and tech do I need to switch or modify to do this swap?
I have a intake, carb, ignitionbox/ coil and distributor already.

Do I need to wire a switch for my Transmission OD to work?

Do I need a fuel regulator?

What else would I need or modify you can think of?

Yes, you will need a fuel pressure regulator because the stock EFI fuel pump puts out over 45psi and your carb will require no more than 8psi.

You will also need to wire a switch for the TCC and O/D to work. The wiring is very simple. If you have a 3-pin connector then you have TCC and OD. If it's a 2-pin connector then it has only OD in the trans.

With a 3-pin connector the center pin is B+ 12V switched power. The front pin in the connector towards the front of the trans is for the TCC and the rear pin is the OD. For the front and rear pins you will need to wire them with switched grounds. So, you will connect one wire from your switch to a good, solid ground and the other wire will connect to the front pin in the connector. Same for the rear pin. They both need a switch ground because they will already have 12V switched power that you wired up.

You will also need to adapt/fabricate some throttle linkage. On the driver side of the carb you can connect the throttle cable and on the passenger side of the carb you will need to fabricate/adapt some linkage for the TV cable so the trans will shift properly because 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear are still hydraulic and the trans requires correct throttle valve pressure to shift properly.
