I have a 2013 Ram 1500 big horn crew cab 4wd.... I wanted to do a leveling lift kit on it.. The kit I ordered raises the front 3.5" and the rear 2.5". Both lifts are spacer blocks. Do I need to buy longer shocks or will stocks work?? If I need larger shocks, any recommendations?? I know auspey lifts are better but I don't feel like spending $1000 on a lift...I would just like a slightly higher ride height and the leveled look
. I am trying to do a decent lift for a low price

This is the one I ordered... I know Ford and Dodges differ, but a I have a few friends who ordered similar kits with no problems

3.5" is way too much for a leveling kit. i suggest returning it and buying something else. either bilsteins or if you want spacers 2.5" max.

FYI....lifting the front 3.5" and the rear 2.5" wouldnt level the truck. you would still have about an inch of rake.

..... and the front end geometry gets completely thrown out of whack and rides/drives like hell.

I'll NEVER use a leveling kit/spacers again. It will destroy your entire front-end.

If you want to go higher, spend the money and buy the right parts to lift /level the truck.

I'm sure some will disagree.

My truck LOOKED great after the leveling and new wheels. But it soon tore up every front suspension component.

My 2¢

Works fine you'll just need an alignment after u put them in yea 3.5 and 2.5 in the end will level it bc stock front and back are off about 1.5 you can see how the stock nose is dipped in the front part of the truck

He's a guy that knows what he's talking about. Usually when you do that much of a lift with a spacer you run into issues and your ride is worse. Sure there are the ones that don't have issues but do you really want to cheap out on something that can ruin your front suspension?

Doing it wrong breaks parts. When you poney up and buy the right parts you don't. Maybe when you turn two you'll realize this.

i have a hard time believing that 1500 is aligned within spec with a 3.5" spacer. id also love to see some pics of the cv shafts and ball joints/upper control arms.

sometimes a little common sense goes a long way when buying things, like the simple fact that theres no reputable company that makes a 3.5" leveling spacer for a 1500, only ******** companies on ebay. i wonder why? im sure that extra inch of height is totally worth it though.

For the record...i never stated it couldnt be installed. its just stupid to install it on your truck.

With 3.5 you will have Angle issues with you Cv shafts add in ball joint

I was told in elementary school years ago that periods and commas are great places to take a breath when reading out loud. As I was reading this post to my toilet, I almost passed out!
