about to order muffler delete, any discounts?

Im about to order the mufflex delete for my truck and was wondering if there are any discounts for forum members through anyone? I was going to order from moe's performance if that makes a difference or not

The best price you will get on any Mufflex kit is when Mufflex offers free shipping. I have never seen them cheaper than that. If you are willing to hold off till that comes, you can get them for $264 shipped.

Errr, my $264 shipped was for a Magnaflow muffler Mufflex.

The delete pipe is actual price shipped during free shipping. Not sure when they will do it again. I am waiting for that as well or until a better deal comes along (used).

I am thinking of running the truck to a local shop and see how much they would charge to make one. I just about bet I could get one cheaper

Yes it just replaces the stock muffler and keeps the oem exhaust

Muffler shop told me $100-150 to make the Y delete pipe.
I got a used Mufflex delete for the same price and I would MUCH rather have bolt on on a brand new truck.

I just prefer things that can be undone when dealing with a new truck

Where I would bring it I know they can make it a bolt on deal with no problem. They have done similar work for me in the past. I'm going to run by Monday and see what they say

Yeah he said he could do that too but the price would go up pretty good.

If you get a muffler shop to do it, keep in mind that they may use anodized metals instead of stainless steel like Mufflex. The difference is possible rust in 5 years or so. Be sure to ask them what they use.

I decided to wait and get the mufflex one. No reason to cheap out on it
