About to order speakers, is this the best bang for the buck?

Ive researched this for days and I think i have a grasp on what will give me the best bang for the buck. If someone disagrees, please let me know and include your suggestions. I have a 2016 ram crew cab with the 6 speaker upgrade that uses the 8.4” radio. Nothing is amplified and will probably stay this way for a while. At some point, i will most likely amp the speakers and add a sub. This is what ive came up with. Thanks in advanced!

Dash speakers:

I have the kickers in my truck with an Alpine amp. I don’t think you can go wrong with them but I tried the resistor in my dash and didn’t notice any difference. I tried them amped and driven by the head unit only. Simply to bright for my tastes so I unhooked them altogether.

If its the non alpine the resistor make all the difference. You will be quite happy with those speakers.

I've got the 6-speaker non Alpine system in my 2018. I've got similar Polk 3.5" speakers in my dash with resistors. I've got those Pioneer speakers in my front doors. I think you will like the results. Let us know your thoughts during and after the install.
