Hi all, new to the forum as this is my first post. I have searched around looking to see if anyone else has had the same problem but can't seem to find it. But wanted to reach out and see if anyone has any idea what it might be...

Made the decision to purchase my first brand new truck in July 2013. Test drove a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn and was hooked from the start. Purchased towards the end of July with 74 miles on it and no problems.

End of September I got a factory recall for the Traction control I believe. Scheduled an appointment and finally got it in towards the beginning of November. A few days prior to the appointment my ABS and Traction Control Lights came on which it warned me might happen in the recall. I took it in for what they estimated would be 1.5hrs. 4hrs later...I needed a new radio because per the dealership near me, it was never flashed before I purchased it. It also now needed a Right Rear speed sensor, both they needed to order. It took almost 2 weeks to get it back into the shop which meant driving around with a pure white screen and a constant ding for the lights that happened every 2-3 seconds....needless to say it stayed in the driveway as much as possible. Dealership replaces it and I am off to the races....or so I thought.

It has been brought in 3-4 times since then for the same lights coming on. However they will come on and randomly go off. Per the dealership, it needs to be on for them to "catch the problem". One Saturday I was pulling out into a busy road and it came on. While doing so, I lost power/acceleration for about 3-4 secs and it made a horrible grinding pulsating noise in the driver's side front. I took it to them Monday morning (I live 1 mile from the shop) and the light came on and went off twice. The last time was as I was pulling into the lot, thus they couldn't "catch it". It has since made the same noise one other time but not as load and same result with the warning lights. I am seriously thinking this truck knows the days of the week and where it is, like a kid going to the doctors office. Unfortunately the dealership is only Mon-Fri 8-5 and seems to only happen on the weekends. The only thing I lose is cruise control while the lights are one, just really getting annoying. Thank You for any help and if anyone needs more information to help diagnose, please ask.

Sounds like to me the tech didn't know what to do per the recall. I would contact Chrysler about what happened. At least it will be on record with them that this dealership has a training issue.
