2004 5.7 hemi magnum Having issues with the engine running very rough and no power. There are no codes set. "Red Lightning bolt" was on steady when it started running rough but now it is not. I removed the trottle body and cleaned it also tried the APP senor reset procedure.
With torque pro if you monitor throttle position with KOEO it is very erratic while pushing the accelerator petal. If you hold it wide open it varies between 90% and 20% or so erratically going up and down. Would that indicate a bad Accelerator petal position sensor? Like I said there isn't a code set......
TIA

Ok I found the sensor, it's under the battery box.......does any one have a pin out diagram of the connector? I could ohm out the sensor and see if it has an erratic output.

You can remove the inner fender cover and see it mounted at bottom of tray, if I remember correctly 3 bolt mount.

Again, it's been years since I replaced one and could be wrong, sorry.

Think you unplug from inside and push through firewall.

You must have a early 04 as the remote APPS was a 03 model item. 04+ the APPS became part of the throttle assembly. The remote APPS has been unavailable for a few years.
