That ANC bypass didn't work for me so I'm still searching.

It sounds like droning noise, and it get over barring some time, but it doesn't last long sometimes it sound like you can hear brass noise thumping and thumping. Now that I did "NOT ENABLE" it I can still hear it but it doesn't last long, where before it would last for about 20-30 minutes and go away it would come back every once and a while. I have to put it back where it was before I take it to the dealer next week maybe they have a software update. Do a search for ANC on google and you will see how annoying it can be.

Sounds very annoying. I get a weird exhaust burble at 1500 rpm. Burble, non burble, burble, no burble…. Most prominent for me going down a hill without accelerator input. I’m wondering if it’s the ANC.

I hope your dealer has a solution for you.

That sounds like MDS going in and out (which I find super annoying as well). Have you tried driving around in 8th gear in manual mode to lock out mds and see if it still does it?

MDS at 20mph? Hmm, I’ll look for the Eco light next time.

Sure, why not? And make sure you have the eco light enabled, but even so there has been debate weather that always turns on when MDS does. Either way the easiest way to determine if it's MDS or not is to simply put the truck in 8th gear and drive the same routes in the same manner. See if it does it then.

Might not be the problem but it's easy enough to try.

Are you sure your truck has ANC. It is my understanding (from my dealer) ANC is only in gas-powered trucks.
Pretty sure, one of the thing that is associated with the ANC is when you open the door or roll a window down the noise would stop.

I was reading on another forum and one of the guy had the same noise and he said that he took it to the dealer, and they fix it by resetting the module, so right after I read that I call up my dealer and told them about the fix or a fix for it. The lady had to get back with me and she said when I call, she was reading a note from FFL not what that mean I don't know, she said that she put my name on it, it seems like there have been going on something with the data link and what's the fix, so they supposed to be getting me another appointment.

The letter was dated back in 6/12/2015, now I don't really know that is this it or not, but I know that they need to fix it, you spend $80,000 plus on a new truck you would think that they would have worked this out by now.

Is yours gas or diesel?
Gas. New development. Sound changed. It’s now a low drum beat, not very loud, sometimes rhythmically consistent, sometimes not. Sound like it’s coming from the rear. Goes away after a while.

Yep, the same as mines the next time you hear that open your truck door or roll down your window and if it stops it's the ANC. It look like that we are almost neighbor I'm in Lakewood, WA.

But of course open your door after you stop or let your window down and see if it stop.

I've been searching all over these posts. Seems they are scattered all over. Yes, I have been reading. I'm chasing a problem in my truck to find out where the droning noise is coming from.
