Adaptive Cruise Control Question

I don't have it , but the number of wrecks lately of people driving into the back of others, Maybe a good thing.
The idiot that tried to run over my 2010 in the middle of the day did not see me stopped at a construction site. Hard to do when you are playing video game or your head up your ass I guess.
Yesterday a 81 yrs old killed when he was stopped on side of the road and some one hit him, then another women hit both of the wrecks.
No more details have been released yet, that seems to take weeks up here.
