I have the 5” on my truck and haven’t installed the back up camera yet. I spliced into the harness behind the radio and used speed cable to go to the amp under my seat and back to the head unit behind the radio. I used the color code for wires that you can find here and made sure I maintained polarity to the amp and back to the speaker wires. The load issue others have had never came up even when balancing and tuning the amp. I moved inputs around on my amp and never once did the HU ever shut off. Speakers are Kickers all the way around and I kept the factory wires in play thru the whole install except where I vampired them.May I ask which factory screen you are using for your system?
I have a 2015 with the 8.4 screen and was told about the load requirement.
Do you mind explaining your setup from the factory head unit to the amp(s) to your speakers/subs?
Cool. i followed you until the 20 pin plug part. lol. but it sounds like an option to look into. i want to do the least cutting possible spending the least amount of money possible to basically add some wattage! I still love the Pioneers I added and my head unit is fine for my needs.

Just last week, PAC-Audio came out with an updated AmpPro that is a simple harness attached to 3 sets of RCAs. Its called the AP4-CH41 (version 2). The harness now accepts Ram trucks with and without the factory amplifier.
