I just wanted to share my experience with adding subs in my Ram 1500 Crew Cab. Initially, I tapped off the drivers rear door speaker and ran the high level inputs to my mono amp. This worked but I felt like the bass was lacking in depth and intensity. Yesterday I added an amp for my door speakers and reconfigured everything to run through an LC6I. WOW what a difference! If you're looking into adding subs, do yourself a favor and go the LOC route if you're still on the factory head unit.
