New Laramie buyer with a 2018 without any sort of rail in the bed. I would prefer one that mounts below the edge cap and use existing holes if they are there. Anyone have a preference for adding rails?

Thanks

I've been looking for rails/tie-down systems for my 1500 but they are hard to find. I found the following by searching the web. Macs Custom Tiedowns has a bed rail system but there is some drilling. Magnum truck racks has an above the rail system but I'm also thinking about a cross-over tool box so anything above the rail would not work. Amazing that trucks costing $40000 or more don't come with better systems of securing cargo.

If you do get something installed, I'd recommend the aircraft cargo rails. Dozens of mounting positions on each side and accept multiple style tiedowns.
