i know when I had sc I had to use a psc1 piggyback to keep it idling, now that I use a diablo i had my tuner up my idle plus I could adjust it on the handheld, but after custom tuning I know i's not necessary now..

The sidewinder shouldn't have to up the idle any to make it run right though.

maybe you should throw a stock thermostat back in for a little bit til you get this all worked out... take it for a long drive (20-30 minutes). last sidewinder install we did the guy lived an hour away, after install it would stall out...after getting home he said it idled fine..

why not go down to a 87 tune, that way you have higher octane fuel than you need but since its a less aggressive tune so maybe that will help.... just tossing out an idea.

that's why you have to "2 foot it" (1 foot always on the gas pedal to keep it from stalling)

connect the sc and use the datalog and monitor stft/ltft (short/ long term fuel trims)...curious how high the trims are off..

Not sure. I bought it like 9 months ago. Its in the original package so Nick could see who it came from.

maybe not then..the AF through me off...I sold it to a guy stationed at an AF base in Utah...

Agreed. I have basically the same setup as nick and the sidewinder never had any idle issues. Slightest of stumble on initial startup but it idled for 40 minutes while I cleaned up and showered, then drove it an hour home without a problem then through 2 hours of traffic to a Phillies game. Never a stall or anything even close to what Nick is experiencing.

This is not what I was expecting to see when I opened this thread up again, my money goes on the glowing wrench. AF said that wires looked to be melted, were they actually melted? If so any idea what wires were melted and did you fix them if they were? Also just to continue on the tool discussion, Snap on is the **** plain and simple. Craftsman cannot compare at all, it sucks ****. I have all Matco and Snap on stuff at work and I have never had a problem, we have Snap on ratchets at work that are 10 years old and get used everyday that have never had any issues.

they are around 27-32 mostly it seems the reason why its stalling bc its dumping more fuel than its needed. like flooding it...
